During my recent stay at Deco Family House for a business trip, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Nestled conveniently just a 15-minute train ride from Melbourne's CBD, this charming guesthouse provides a cozy blend of comfort and functionality. Our spacious double room, although equipped with a private bathroom externally, offered a comfortable bed-though I must admit the futon mattress was a tad firm for my liking. The common areas, including a well-equipped kitchen and serene living room, were exceptionally tidy and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. I was particularly appreciative of the access to local amenities; with shops, restaurants, and public transport just a few minutes' walk away, it made our outings seamless. Be mindful of the limited parking; securing a spot can be a matter of luck! For a historical literature enthusiast like myself, Deco Family House presents a lovely intersection of comfort and cultural exploration, making it an ideal choice for both work and relaxation.
